Player Expectations

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”
— Michael Jordan

Players must understand that the team is greater than the sum of its parts. We succeed together.

Equipment

Players are responsible for their own gear. Confirm you have everything before leaving. Bags must be lined up in an orderly fashion — all belongings stay in bags unless in use. Players — not parents — carry and track their gear.

Conduct & Respect

Every player wearing a 212 jersey represents our culture. Be respectful and courteous to everyone — teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials. Your position on this team is a privilege. Players and parents must not speak to officials at any time.

Attitude & Atmosphere

Maintain a positive atmosphere at all times. Encourage your teammates. Players will support one another, celebrate successes, and never assign blame. Do not belittle any player — on this team or any other. Win with class. Lose with class.

Sideline Behavior

All players must stay focused, remain in line, and be ready to substitute in at any moment. There is no sitting on the sidelines or taking a knee unless injured. Our bench is as important as our players on the field.

Post-Game Etiquette

At the end of every game, players will line up — goalie first — and shake hands with the opposing team: helmets on, gloves off, make eye contact. Failure to conduct yourself respectfully will result in consequences.

Clean-Up

After each game, players are responsible for cleaning up their belongings and any trash around the team area.

Give 100% in everything you do. Be a great teammate. We are here for each other and expect your full commitment every day.

Depth Chart Policy

The depth chart is a dynamic tool used to evaluate players, promote competitive excellence, and support individual growth. Players are ranked based on four core pillars, which guide tournament roster selections and playing time decisions.

01

Attitude

Positive leadership, strong sportsmanship, coachability, and a genuine commitment to team values — on and off the field.

02

Ability

Technical lacrosse skills, game IQ, physical conditioning, and consistent performance in both practices and games.

03

Practice Attendance

Regular, punctual participation with active engagement and full effort in every session.

04

Team Utility

Versatility across roles and positions, mastery of team systems, and a positive presence that strengthens team chemistry.

Playing Time

In high-stakes games and critical tournament moments, playing time prioritizes players ranked higher on the depth chart. That said, coaches are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for every rostered player throughout the tournament — particularly in lower-stakes situations.

The depth chart is a transparent, growth-oriented tool. Players should understand where they stand, what they can improve, and how they contribute to the team’s success.
